I don’t know how long this has been up on tumbler but I’m seeing it for the first time right now and I do not see where Toure took down Piers. I am not defending either side. I do however, see what Piers was trying to do by having Robert Zimmerman on his show and I do not think that Toure was able to see or understand that and that’s why he is so upset. I feel that Toure believes that Piers was trying to use Robert Zimmerman in a way to get people to believe in George and discredit Trayvon. I feel that wasn’t the case. I think that Robert Zimmerman just proved how flawed the Zimmerman family really is, just by listening to the things Robert was saying and how he responded to the questions.

The focus in my opinion shouldn’t have been how hard should Robert Zimmerman be challenged or pushed on this show, but let’s see how deep of a whole can another Zimmerman dig. If people would think without bias they should be able to see the holes in Zimmerman’s response in comparison to the nonsense that his brother, father, lawyer etc have been saying. Toure’s response is understood but he doesn’t understand Piers actions. Even if NBC didn’t want Robert Zimmerman on their show doesn’t mean that Piers is wrong or unjustified for having him on his show. He just took it from a different angle, maybe an angle that NBC didn’t want to deal with. (Just my opinion and I am a black american women whose family is british).
